“We believe our unique cashmere brings a spiritual warmth to its wearers, allowing them to experience the world more authentically and in ultimate comfort.”

Uniting my Mongolian heritage with over ten years of experience within the retail industry, learning from the likes of BBC Dragon Touker Suleyman, my goal has always been to build a traceable, ethically sourced and sustainable cashmere brand that encompasses both luxury fashion and the Nomadic way of life.

Our parent company Khanbogd has remained as one of the top 100 companies in Mongolia for the production and supply of cashmere over the last 25 years, and with their support, BOGD is proud to take the place of their official international division, with a direct supply chain to our customers.

Khanbogd has been supplying dehaired cashmere for over 25 years, consistently offering products that exceed the stringent quality requirements of global luxury brands in England, Europe, USA and Asia. None of this would be possible without the work of founder and owner Ankhjargal Jack Purev.

Why BOGD?

BOGD was the last king of Mongolia and the third most important person in the Tibetan Buddhist hierarchy as the 8th Jebtsundamba Khutuktu, below only the Dalai Lama and Panchen Lama.

BOGD (Tavan Bogd – Five saints) is the highest mountain in Mongolia. Its highest peak, the Khuiten Peak, reaches 4374 meters above sea level.

By merging the history of Nomadic Culture with our cutting-edge, modern technology, we have created our brand name and logo based on “The Wheel of Life”, accompanied by the cashmere knitting weaves that symbolise our passion.
