Mongolian Noble Fiber
The Mongolian Noble Fiber (MNF) stamp is an international certification developed by the Mongolian government, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction and the Mongolian Wool and Cashmere Association. The certification recognises the intrinsic value of Mongolian cashmere, indicating that our products are made using sustainable practices whilst upholding a premium level of quality.
On the 21st of November 2019, Khanbogd Cashmere received the MNF certification, becoming one of the first companies in the country to get this prestigious recognition.

Mongolian livestock roam the vast countryside breathing clean air, feeding on succulent wild grasses and drinking clear water, requiring only sunlight and rain to thrive. Mongolian cashmere goats, camels and yaks produce fiber in a wide range of natural colors, from pure white to almost black. This color variety enables deep, vibrant and versatile colour palettes.
The wide range of natural fiber colors can create sophisticated hues in undyed cashmere, allowing it to be certified as organic.
A combination of fine fiber and traditional yarn spinning techniques yields soft and dense knitwear that can create warmth without the unnecessary weight you find in luxury knits and woven fabrics.
The fiber’s chemical make-up and physical structure include qualities such as moisture wicking, odor absorption and durability. This means products made from cashmere feel comfortable, stay fresh and keep their original shape and style.
